Banners are generally made in two different sizes; 400
x 40 (pixels) or 468 x 60 (pixels) are the most common. The reason
for the difference in size is that different advertising agencies want different
sized images. Others sizes can be created to, just say what dimensions
you need and PWDI can decide on a price for that.
These may also be animated (at $10/frame). Animated banners do catch
peoples attention much better and also provide the ability of providing much
more information. Please note however, that not all advertising agencies
allow animated banners, and some may have certain restrictions on them such
as file size.
PWDI can also find good places to advertise these banners for you.
There are many banner services such as LinkExchange and Banner Swap
that are free, or you may pay to advertise on a place such as Yahoo!.
(Note that free services require a trade type agreement.)
Generally speaking this costs about $20 for a static banner and if you
want something animated it cost's $20 + $10 per frame.
You may have heard the song; And His banner, over me, is love. It
is perhaps a very contemporary and repetitive song, but it is true. The
Bible says that they (non-believers) will know we are Christians by our Love.
There is a list of what love really is in I Corinthians:
-
1 Cor 13:4 Love is patient, love is kind, and is not jealous; love does not
brag and is not arrogant,
-
1 Cor 13:5 does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked,
does not take into account a wrong suffered,
-
1 Cor 13:6 does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth;
-
1 Cor 13:7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures
all things.
-
1 Cor 13:8a Love never fails;
Love is also part of the greatest commandment:
-
Mark 12:29 Jesus answered him, "The first of all the commandments is: 'Hear,
O Israel, the LORD our God, the LORD is one.
-
Mark 12:30 'And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with
all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.' This is the
first commandment.
-
Mark 12:31 "And the second, like it, is this: 'You shall love your neighbor
as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these."
Love is something that God requires from everyone... Think about
it... |
Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren,
whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things
are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever
things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise,
think on these things.
Revelation 20:2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old
serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up,
and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till
the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed
a little season.
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment
was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the
witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the
beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads,
or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
