In the realm of the spirit, there is one who will always be there to give you all the help you need.  Jesus Christ has been through it all.  He was a human, he faced temptation, he had to work, he had to tough it out sometimes.  Sure, there were times when things were nice and fun and everything, but just like us, there were times that frankly stunk.

You can ask him for help, the bible states that God is a very present help in times of need.  The Lord is willing and ready to give you all the help you want, simply ask.  The bible also says: "Ask and it shall be given unto you".  It would probably be best to get a little context on this scripture.

  • Matthew 7:7  ¶Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:  8  For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Throughout this passage in the bible, Jesus is telling the people what is right and wrong and how to act.  Judgment, grace, and mercy.  Though you may ask for anything, this isn't saying you can have anything.  Nor that everything is good for you.  There is still the law of consequences for all people.  If you are aligned with the will of God, what you ask is what you will be given.

1 Corinthians 13:1 ¶Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.

4 ¶Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,

5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;

6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;

7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

8 ¶Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.

10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
